Virtual Wedding Party - How did it go?

Updated: May 11, 2020

We took part in a whole different kind of wedding fayre on Saturday I didn't leave my house no filling up the car and setting up a stand and when it ended at 5pm I left with a strong feeling of community at a time when a lot of people are feeling alone. It was a fabulous small business Saturday with 50 wedding suppliers all coming together, a day filled with positivity. I am part of a Cheshire Networking group 'Cheshire SWAGS' I absolutely love this group of people we support and encourage each other with our businesses. It was two of the Cheshire Swags ladies that organised and hosted the wedding fayre on facebook Rach and Lara from Festival Events and Planning. If you're after your event dressing these are the girls to go too they create beautiful weddings! Social media was always so important for businesses in helping spread the word and marketing but since lockdown a businesses online presences has proved that much more valuable!

Every 5 minutes a different supplier video and images were shown and the day also included an expert panel with Q&A. Days like this are so useful especially with it being virtual; everything posted was available for bride to be's to scroll back and have another look saving hours of searching on google.

Let us know what you think, which way do you prefer? Do you enjoy going to wedding fayres or do you prefer the virtual relaxed approach?

Check out our video and photos to get a glimpse of what our slot involved!
